The goal of Nampa Youth Basketball is for kids to have fun playing basketball and to learn the fundamentals of the game. NYB is primarily for instruction and recreation. We do not emphasize competition, even though games are played throughout the season. The coaches will work with the children to develop individual skills, team skills and sportsmanship. League Information: January 17-February 25. Teams will have 2 one hour practices per week. Games will be played on Saturdays. All practices and games will be held at Nampa public school gyms. No practice Monday, January 16 due to the holiday. Coaches' Meeting: Tuesday January 10, 2012 All leagues, 6pm at Nampa Senior Center. Coaches receive team rosters, game schedules, and confirm practice times. Coaches are Needed: If you are interested in being a coach, please indicate this on the registration form or contact the Nampa Rec Department at 468-5858. Pre-Registration Deadline: $20 through December 20 ($25 after deadline) Practice Begins January 17! |
