(Base to Pre-Season)
Taught by Tim Eylar, certified personal trainer
and Category 3 cyclist, these intense training
rides will help endurance athletes achieve
improved ability to work at a higher intensity
for a longer duration, improving lactate
threshold. Each ride will consist of an extended
warm up, high intensity intervals, and
recovery. Participants will learn effective use
of a heart rate monitor as a training tool,
proper fuel for training, signs of overtraining,
as well as pedal stroke and cycle techniques.
Participants must attend the pre training session.
Bring a heart rate monitor, water bottle
and towel to pre training session.
